The big smile on my face is for a repeat performance next Tuesday for the "Women at the Well"
What a wonderful ecumenical weekend! I was honored and privileged to play for Maundy Thursday services at St. Mathias in Lincoln Square; Good Friday services at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Palatine (viola!); a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception at Makray Golf Club on Saturday and then for Easter Sunday services at 1st Congregational Church in Glen Ellyn.
Now for this weekend…I will be performing my show, “A Day in the Life of a Strolling Violinist” in Rockford as well as a wedding ceremony at the historic Briggs’ Mansion there. Then on Sunday, I hope to see you for an enjoyable concert in Park Ridge as I play viola in the Northwest Symphony, under the direction of Maestro Paul Vermel.
